What do you think about the zoo in Chiang Mai?

I was there last year. The part with the Pandas is exeptional - but the rest of the zoo seem not to be "state of the art" for keeping of animals in their natural environment...

Unfortunately we didn't get to see the Pandas. I think you have to pay extra to see them is that right?
I tend to agree with your other comments. I especially thought it was sad that the eagles were in such small cages preventing them from doing what God created them to do. It's a bit hard for them to soar through the air in a cage. The best they could do was flutter about. I hope they'll be moved to the larger aviary.
